I’ve been thinking a lot about love lately. Not just the kind of love you see in movies or read about in books, but the real, messy, everyday kind of love. The kind of love that makes you laugh until your sides hurt and cry until you can’t see straight. The kind of love that makes you feel like you can do anything and the kind of love that makes you want to give up everything.

I’m a queer woman, and I’ve been fortunate enough to experience all kinds of love in my life. I’ve been loved by my family and friends, I’ve been loved by my partners, and I’ve been loved by my community. And through it all, I’ve learned a lot about love.

I’ve learned that love is not always easy. It can be hard work, and it can be messy. But it’s also the most beautiful thing in the world. Love is what makes life worth living.
