And the monster, Rhain, is a complex and fascinating character. He’s dangerous and powerful, but he also has a soft spot for Anya.

The romance between Anya and Rhain is slow-burn and steamy. I loved watching their relationship develop from enemies to lovers. And the ending is just perfect.
